Finding Us

From Taree (54km): turn off the Pacific Highway at Taree then head west to Wingham. Cross over the railway and head north on the Comboyne road. The mountain road is winding and has approximately 19kms of gravel surface. This road is not recommended for caravans and large trailers. You will pass through beautiful forests, see stunning vistas, you may see lyrebirds, pademelons (small wallaby) and other wildlife.

From Kew (35km): turn off the Pacific Highway at Kew towards the west. Continue through the small village of Kendall heading west to Comboyne. The mountain road is winding and has approximately 14kms of gravel surface. Watch out for logging trucks on this road. Travel through eucalypt forests and near the top you will catch glimpses of magnificent panoramas towards the 'Three Brothers' on the coast.

From Port Macquarie (60km): take the Oxley Highway travelling west through Wauchope, ‘the Timbertown’. Continue another 12 kms west on the Oxley Highway, turn left at Comboyne Road. There is a sign to Ellenborough Falls. This road is winding but is sealed all the way to Comboyne. You will travel up the mountain road through the forest, at the top you emerge into the beautiful rolling hills of Comboyne.
