Comboyne Community Planning Workshop

The first workshop was held at the Comboyne War Memorial Hall on Wednesday 21st May 2008 This workshop was coordinated by the Comboyne Community Association Inc facilitated by Pieter Veransdonck from the NSW Department of State and Regional Development and also funded by DSRD.

The main theme of the meeting was: How can we make the Comboyne Plateau a better place to live and work?"

In 2002, over 100 Comboyne people attended a workshop to develop a plan for Comboyne’s future: The Comboyne Community Plan 2002 - 2007 Since that time, much has changed and, now we must plan for our future.

All comments will be integrated into the Community Plan. A draft version of the Plan will be released for community comment in August.  Then we will invite the community, Port Macquarie Hastings Council and relevant government departments to endorse the Plan.
